Nico Killian established the business in 1997. By that point, Nico had spent nine years working in the roofing industry, first for Everite. He had seen a need for a specialized roofing company in the Bloemfontein region that would concentrate on repair and maintenance.

In addition to Chris and Lourens De Wee, two of Nurite Roofing’s major employees, Nico also worked for the same company at the time, and when he left to found his own business, they joined him to form the strong team they are still today. Since then, Nurite has developed into a reputable business with a workforce of four Site Managers, each of whom oversees a group of permanent employees who are skilled in various facets of construction and roofing.

Slate roofs, cement tile roofs, and Harvey tiles are Nurite Roofing’s three main areas of expertise. Nurite, however, has expanded its experience in industrial roof maintenance and waterproofing, as well as maintenance and waterproofing on multistory buildings and office blocks. The company does not only operate on residential buildings or houses.

No task is too difficult for this daring team to complete, whether it involves a level cement surface, an 80-degree roof, a 12-story skyscraper with glass panes, or any other type of surface. Additionally, Nurite has expanded the scope of its service offering to encompass Lesotho as well as other provinces such the Northern Cape and North West Province.
